Satire and the Babylon Bee: Episode 2

September 19, 2016

J. Mark Fox teams up with Shawn Curtis (the officer) and Micah Fox (the president) to talk about the use of satire in Christianity, especially the Babylon Bee, which refers to itself as “your trusted source for Christian news satire.”

Does satire change anyone’s mind? Is satire helpful for the church? Is that even the purpose of The Babylon Bee?

At the end, Shawn explains why his family motto was “no fun!” and the Foxes talk about how they try to create a family culture that includes humor.
