Today we are discussing the purpose and power of home groups in the church. We discuss some do’s and don’ts, plus share some encouraging stories and a few of the funniest moments we’ve experienced over the years.
Life groups, home groups, small groups, cell groups…whatever you may call them, we’re referring to weekly meetings of 4-6 families for the purpose of prayer, fellowship, and Bible study. For our church, Sunday mornings are for pursuing a relationship with the Lord, but home groups are for building relationships with each other. Meeting in homes allows us to get to know each other at a deeper level.
What about pet interruptions? House rules? Socks vs. shoes?…These are important issues, right?
